In the most recent call (15.01.2024) of “New Ideas” DoSchem program Christoph Bendl (Hultzsch group) and Paul Schweng (Woodward group) were awarded funding for their joint proposal entitled "Ultra-high surface area polymers for effective atmospheric water harvesting". Their research project will focus on the investigation of efficient ways to extract water from air in water-stressed regions. The research will be conducted at the Institute of Functional Materials and Catalysis and the Institute of Materials Chemistry of the University of Vienna.
